Empire Communities has been named Ontario Home Builder of the Year by the Ontario Home Builders’ Association (OHBA) at the 2015 Awards of Distinction held Monday, September 28th in Huntsville.

The developer has built over 10,000 single family and high-rise homes across Southwestern Ontario and the GTA over the past 20 years. As one of the top builders of master-planned communities in the province, Empire stood out among a well-respected group of industry peers to capture the award.

“We’re honoured to have been named the Ontario Home Builder of the Year by the OHBA,” said Daniel Guizzetti, Co-Founder, CEO and President at Empire Communities. “This speaks to our commitment of building inspiring new homes and neighbourhoods of enduring value.

The Ontario Home Builder of the Year award is the latest in the company’s roster after receiving nearly 100 domestic and international awards for design, green initiatives, marketing, and sales excellence.

Empire is also known for its contributions to several fundraising initiatives including Habitat for Humanity, Brantford’s Wayne Gretzky Sports Centre, David Hornell Jr. School for an outdoor classroom and the Brantford Home Builders’ Association (BHBA) Annual Luncheon.

“We have built our reputation on our core values of caring, optimism and trust, which can also be seen with our corporate responsibility initiatives and exceptional customer-service experience,” said Guizzetti.

In addition to the top honours, Empire won best website and best high- or mid-rise project sales brochure for its Eau Du Soleil waterfront community in Toronto. Now under construction, the two-tower development is poised to become a landmark along the shores of Humber Bay when completed. The project features distinctive architecture, high quality finishes and luxurious lifestyle amenities designed to rival some of the world’s finest resorts.
